The follow are a few tibits that may help you ensure your website will be listed in our directory. It is very easy to get your website listing in our directory very quickly.
We want to list every quality website, and often receive listing submissions with good websites that have a mistake and can't be listed.
The location information, correct city name (and zip code if in the United States) is extremely important. A good description, that tells us about your website (ie: a description and not keywords). Don't repeat your categories. Double check your website url and used the test link to triple check it. Never link to a flash introduction (link to your first regular or appropriate page. We will not approve a listing that links to a flash page.
This is not a joke either! If your website is about cars or automobiles (car sales, cart parts, car classifieds, etc), you really should submit it to our Automobile Websites. (HINT! websites about cars, automobiles, dating or loans are not usually added to this directory -- rental car website for travel should be submitted to this website).
Your listing will be reviewed by an overworked human with a bad attitude. That means you
should expect to see your listing approved within a day or so, providing that you: * provided
your correct website url * provided relevant categories, title, description, correct city name, and zip code
(if within USA) * it is clear from a very quick look at your website, that it is
located in or is about Minnesota * and most importantly that our human wasn't subjected to a
barrage of popups, flash introductions or other presentation that frustrate their ability to
verify your listing. It is rare they we approve any sites that are not in English (see below for Spanish Sites). Please don't add affiliate, redirects or similar type links.
Very important: If your website has a flash (or other plugin based) introduction you should use a url which deep links past the flash introduction. If your site is completely flash based it will not be included in our directory.
