Sweet Retreat A Bed and Breakfast Inn, located halfway between Alexandria and Glenwood on 14 beautiful acres provides not only quiet comfortable rooms and a wonderful breakfast, Sweet Retreat offers a large dining room and two large sitting rooms perfect for hosting your scrapbooking retreat. As a former Creative Memories consultant innkeeper Kari Kiesner has a unique knowledge of what it takes to host a successful scrapbooking retreat and will provide you with everything you need to focus your time on completing pages for your scrapbooks and tending to your guests. Our two-day scrapbooking retreat includes early check-in, late checkout and two great breakfasts as well as various options for lunch or dinner including bringing your own meals and beverages. Specific menus for additional meals can be created to fit any budget allowing you to focus strictly on scrapbooking. As Stephanie Galland, A Creative Memories Unit Leader said after her recent retreat, "The food was delicious, there was ample tablespace and clean convenient accommodations. We appreciated that we could bring our own snacks. The house was cozy despite it being 20 below zero outside. Everyone commented on the comfortable beds.
