Owner (Shafer) has worked with small computer systems since 1982, holds a BS Business Administration (Finance major /Accounting minor) and has 25 years experience in the issues of small business development via his own having created and developed several private businesses and having been an advisor to several mid-sized ($2-6 mil. funding), venture capital backed startups. Primary areas of expertise are in Windows 98 and 2000 Pro, networking, Linux (file servers, Samba and related), and systems security including lightweight NIDS (Network Intrusion Detection Systems) using SNORT, Ethereal and similar.
