The Togolese Foundation for Peace, based in Sokode, Togo (a French-speaking country of West Africa), was founded in June 2002 by a group of people concerned about the rise of violence in its different forms in our society. Thus, we decided to work for a culture of peace and non-violence and for the development of our communities, particularly the rural underprivileged communities.
